is seeking to appoint a part-time

Transactional Finance Assistant

22 hours per week

4 days per week - hours to be discussed

Salary:  £28,598 - £30,518 FTE - £17,975 - £19,182 pro rata

Location:  The post is based at DEMAT’s offices in Ely.  Hybrid working  available dependent upon working pattern.  It is expected that a minimum of 2 days will be worked in the office each week.

The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy trust is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to undertake a varied range of transactional processing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in all aspects of finance administration. Candidates must be self-motivated, customer focused, organised and have great attention to detail.

 The successful applicant will:

·      Be experienced working in a similar finance role including accounts payable and receivable

·      Have experience of using computerised accounting software

·      Have credit control experience

·      Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

·      Be resilient and be able to prioritise and  set clear priorities in managing their workload.

·      Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
