Post: Deputy Headteacher at Moorlands Schools Federation

We are seeking an inspirational and aspirational Deputy Headteacher to work alongside the Executive Headteacher in the leadership of the Moorlands Schools Federation, comprising two-form entry Infant and Junior schools.
This post represents an excellent opportunity for an existing leader within The Partnership Trust who is ready to further develop their leadership impact and contribute to sustained school improvement.
We welcome applications from internal Trust candidates who:
• demonstrate effective strategic leadership that promotes consistently high standards of teaching and learning, alongside strong outcomes in pupils’ personal development, behaviour and attitudes;
• have proven experience of leading assessment across the curriculum, with a clear understanding of how high-quality assessment is used to evaluate impact, inform teaching, support targeted intervention and drive school improvement;
• have demonstrated successful leadership of core subjects (English and/or Mathematics), alongside meaningful experience of contributing to or leading aspects of the wider curriculum;
• can evidence recent excellent classroom practice, with successful teaching experience across the primary age range;
• have a track record of contributing to school improvement across a range of schools or contexts, with clear, measurable impact on standards, consistency and outcomes;
• possess strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate practice, identify priorities and implement improvement strategies effectively;
• demonstrate the credibility, professionalism and emotional intelligence to inspire, challenge and support colleagues at all levels;
