Kimbolton School is seeking to appoint an experienced piano
teacher to work within our Music Department as a Visiting Music Teacher. This
role involves providing specialised piano instructions to our pupils across
both the Prep and Senior Schools. There is at least one full day of teaching available
with the potential growth for a second day depending on demand.
The main duties of this role include delivering thirty
40-minute piano lessons per senior pupil in each academic year, and/or thirty
30-minute lessons per pupil in the Prep School. You will be required to
timetable lessons at least one week in advance, maintain pupil attendance and
encourage pupils to participate in and prepare pupils for concerts and
competitions. The ability and willingness to teach beginners through to Grade 8
and beyond is essential.
