This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified level 1 or 2 Swimming Instructor to join our friendly and supportive swim school team.  You will join us at an exciting time as we look to develop the swim school provision. 

With small class sizes and friendly teachers, our swim school offers a structured way to learn how to swim. The swim school offers pre-school Duckling classes from age two and a half and the ASA National Plan from age five. Swim school lessons are currently available on Saturday, Sunday mornings and Wednesday, Friday after school at Denstone College pool.

The Successful candidate will have: 

• Recognised Level 1 or 2 Swim Teacher Qualification

• Experience of teaching in and out of the water is desired

• NPLQ OR National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches

or be willing to work towards

• Experience of 1-1 lessons, with new starters who need more individual

attention is desired

• The ability to plan and deliver safe effective lessons

• Duckling experience is desired

• The ability to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents
