We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified
Maths teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. The post is
permanent, full-time or part time and would be suitable for either an ECT or an
experienced teacher. The successful candidate would be expected to have a
passion for learning and teaching, together with the skills to inspire and
motivate our students to achieve the very best they can and is dedicated to
their own professional development.
At
Wootton, students benefit from 5 maths lessons a week across all year groups
and our results at GCSE are good and getting better. At Kimberley, more
students study Mathematics than any other subject. This year, we expect around
300 students to take A-level Maths and over 100 to take Further Maths at
Kimberley College. Many of our students go on to study Maths or related degrees
at university, and Year 11 students thrive in the AQA Level 2 Certificate in
Further Mathematics.
Delivering high-quality maths education to so many
students requires a brilliant team. Across our college and school, 14 expert
teachers cover everything from KS3 and KS4 to A-levels, bringing energy,
creativity, and care to every lesson. We value collaboration, innovation, and a
love of learning, creating an environment where both students and staff can
flourish.
With Wootton adding Years 7 and 8 and becoming a
secondary school we’re looking for more passionate teachers to join our team.
We’d love to hear from a range of people with different experiences, whether
it’s teaching maths at Key Stage 2, secondary, or post-16. Whether you’re
currently training as a teacher or have a few years under your belt, we would
provide all the support you need to develop further.
If you love maths and inspiring students, then
Wootton Academy Trust is the place to make an impact and be part of a thriving,
