The successful candidate would be expected to have a passion for learning and teaching, together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students to achieve the very best they can and is dedicated to their own professional development.
The potential for Science at Wootton Upper School and Kimberley College is huge. Our facilities are second-to-none, and we have a dedicated and experienced team of colleagues to join. Biology, Chemistry and Physics are amongst the most popular A-levels at Kimberley, and at Wootton we enter two or three classes a year for Triple Science GCSE. Many of our students go on to study science or science-adjacent subjects at university, and we are looking to build on this over the next few years.
With Wootton becoming a full secondary school in 2026, we need more teachers who love the subject to join the team. Whether you are at an early stage in your career or further along and looking for a fresh challenge, teaching science at Wootton Academy Trust provides a great opportunity to use your expertise and passion to make a difference to the next generation of scientists
