About this Role

Job Title:  Learning Mentor 

 

The post holder will be accountable to Arise Education’s Pine Stage Lead. 

The post is advertised as a one year fixed term post, in line with the student's placement, though there is potential for the contract to be extended.

 

Job Description 

Arise Education’s Reach Programme is designed to meet students where they are at (at home or in the community). With the same ethos and values as Arise Education’s school and alternative provision, Arisefocuses on engaging students in a variety of bespoke learning opportunities as well as personal development and emotional literacy.  

 

The purpose of this role is to provide highly personalised educational, emotional and pastoral support to a named student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)and attachment needs. The postholders will act as the student's trusted adults, building a safe, consistent and nurturing relationship that enables the student to engage successfully in learning, develop emotional regulation skills, and experience success both within and beyond the classroom.
