About this Role

About us:

Pinxton Village Academies is the shared name for Longwood Infant Academy, John King Infant Academy and Kirkstead Junior Academy. We have a unique structure as we are led collectively by one Senior Leadership Team and have one Governing Board who support us in delivering a warm welcoming atmosphere where all are nurtured and cared for. In 2018, our schools formally joined the Flying High Trust and now work collaboratively with our Trust colleagues to achieve our shared aim of being the best schools in the universe! We feel very strongly that school is a partnership between children, parents, staff and governors and that by working together we can motivate children to succeed in all areas of their development. Therefore, our school motto captures this aspiration:

Stronger Together

About the Flying High Partnership:

The Flying High Partnership is a thriving multi-academy trust of 35 primary schools across Derbyshire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire. Driven by a shared vision to be unique, exceptional, and sustainable, the Partnership champions meaningful collaboration to ensure schools continually grow, innovate, and support one another.

Since its establishment in 2012, the Partnership has remained committed to celebrating individuality, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring that every child thrives. With a strong emphasis on school-led professional development and leadership, we invest in growing exceptional teachers and inspirational leaders who make a genuine difference in their communities.

Together, we make every day count.
