This is not a traditional teaching
assistant role. This would suit candidates with experience of alternative
education and/or youth work.
This role requires a firm but fair
role model to appropriately deal with the challenging behaviour you will
encounter on a daily basis, be it in a 1:1 or group setting. If you have the
experience and resilience to deal with the challenges you will face, apply
today, we would love to hear from you.
Please note that the role does involve some regular physical activity
e.g. restrictive physical interventions, interacting with students through play
on the floor and responding promptly to escalated situations. This does not
remove our obligation to make adjustments where appropriate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive, dedicated
and hardworking team
Visits to Compass Lingwood are encouraged and welcomed or if you would
