About this Role

Mowbray Education Trust is seeking an experienced Estates Director to lead the strategic direction of our estate across multiple school sites.

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer, you will ensure our buildings, grounds, and facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with statutory requirements. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of our estate and supporting our educational mission.

At Mowbray Education Trust, we put children first. You’ll play a key role in creating safe, sustainable, and inspiring environments for learning.

Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a collaborative family of eight schools and a preschool setting, educating over 3,500 pupils and employing more than 550 staff across Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Our schools span from Early Years to Post-16 and serve a range of communities - from small village primary schools to large secondary schools in towns serving areas with considerable socio-economic challenges - united by a shared mission: Children First.

We are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning with integrity, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or ability, achieves their full potential.
