Staff Instructor (SSI) - CCF
Location: Brooke

Salary: BWT Grade 8, point
22, full time equivalent (FTE)
salary- £37,771, £15,312.57 pro rata plus and additional allowance of up to £5,688 per annum
Hours per week /
Weeks per year: 15 hours per week, with an unpaid lunchbreak of 30 minutes, 52 weeks per year. Actual working hours to be
agreed. Flexibility will be required for
events including weekends and evenings.
About the School
Staff Instructor role
We have the opportunity to appoint a School Staff Instructor
to join our CCF Team here at Brooke Weston Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible to
the Contingent Commander who will oversee all training, stores, equipment,
security, weapons maintenance and administration of the Trust’s Cadet Contingent
together with ensuring compliance with the requirements for security as laid
down in the relevant MOD publications.
The SSI will assist the Contingent Commander with the
running and organisation of the Cadet Contingent and to participate in some CCF
activities.
The SSI will also be supported by a part-time Storeman, who will
act as quartermaster and supply organiser to the CCF.
