About this Role

Post Title: Finance Assistant

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the daily processing and admin are kept up to date within finance.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

• Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and credit notes on the finance system Access.

 • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Answer phone calls and contact suppliers regarding any order queries.

 • Adding new suppliers to the system after completing checks.

  • Proven experience in finance.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.

Start Date:  1st April 2026               

Hours:  24 hours per week

Job Type: Fixed Term linked to growth plans

Working Days: Monday – Wednesday 08:00am-16:00pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break

Salary Grade: NJC Grade L3 – Point 6 - £25,989 (FTE), Annual Actual £13,374 plus pension benefits and family private healthcare
