About this Role

Are you a skilled IT Technician looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity? The Learning Academies Trust is offering a permanent IT Technician role for a skilled professional who excels in technical support and is passionate about enhancing digital environments. This opportunity involves providing high-quality IT services in an educational setting, making it ideal for someone eager to combine their technical expertise with a commitment to improving digital resources in schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support IT systems and infrastructure for staff and students across multiple sites.
  • Assist with the implementation of various IT projects and upgrades.
  • Provide second-line remote and onsite support, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to assist users.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in an IT support or technician role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential.
  • GCSEs Maths and English C or above and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be able to travel between the 18 schools within the Trust.
