Casual contract, remote working - based in London or Norfolk
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our portfolio of professional services to schools in their local area and beyond. The post holder will work closely with our Head of Traded Services to deliver key SEND advice and support to mainstream schools across London/Norfolk. You will work closely with colleagues in school to support their development of systems and routines to secure full implementation of the Code of Practice with all SEND pupils.
You will be a qualified SENCO with experience of embedding whole school processes and practice for pupils with SEND. You will be committed to ensuring all learners receive the best platform to an education and will have the ability to understand how to come alongside teams of staff and other SENCOs to support the embedding of systems and processes in school.
The post holder will be required to travel to schools and settings across a wide geographical area.

You will be required:
To promote the ethos and values of the Trust.

To manage priorities and deadlines ensuring projects are delivered within the required timeframes.
To have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the wider legal responsibilities of schools to support pupils with SEND.
To be organised and tenacious in your desire to support schools and wider professionals to implement system and practice change to support pupils with SEND.
To have a keen understanding of assessment and record keeping of students’ progress and how this is used for the Assess, Plan, Do, Review (APDR) process.
To prepare and maintain accurate records, using school systems and established procedures/protocols.
To demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum policy and design so that pupils with SEND are able to access a curriculum that is on par with their peers.
To liaise with colleagues and Senior Leadership Teams in schools in order to monitor and develop curriculum in line with local needs and needs of students.
To attend Teaching and Learning and staff meetings within directed time.
