About this Role

St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a class teacher to join our vibrant, faith-filled school community. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child is valued as a unique individual with infinite potential, and we are looking for a passionate teacher who shares this vision.

We welcome applications from:

  • Teachers looking for the next step in their career.

At St. Paul’s, we offer:

  • A comprehensive induction programme fully aligned with the ECT framework.
  • Dedicated release time for your professional development.
  • One-on-one mentoring from our experienced team of mentors to support you every step of the way.

The successful candidate will join a warm, friendly, and supportive team. We encourage candidates to share their curriculum strengths and interests as part of their application. As part of the team, you will help shape the next phase of our school's journey.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Understands that children’s wellbeing is key to successful learning.
  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for themselves, colleagues, and students.
  • Can be an inspirational role model for children and staff.
  • Has a dynamic, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Is reflective and eager to develop their teaching practice.
  • Can adapt teaching to meet the needs, interests, and stage of development of each child.
  • Employs a range of assessment for learning strategies to ensure all pupils are supported in their learning.
  • Works in partnership with parents, staff, and governors.
  • Supports the Catholic ethos of the school (applications from non-Catholics who are willing to support this ethos are also welcome).

What we offer:

  • Pupils who are happy, beautifully behaved, and motivated to learn.
  • A welcoming, inclusive community where all are valued.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development with excellent CPD opportunities.
  • A wellbeing package designed to support work-life balance.
  • An exciting chance to work with a collaborative senior leadership team dedicated to creating a curriculum that is motivating, relevant, and memorable.
  • A positive and caring teaching environment.
  • A friendly, motivated team with supportive Governors and Parents.

If you're passionate about teaching and ready to make a real difference in the lives of our students, we would love to hear from you.
