About this Role

Fixed Term to July 2026 due to funding, Part-time, 31 hours and 15 minutes per week. Monday - Friday (8.45am-3.30pm).

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Assistant – SEND to join our dedicated and supportive team. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), especially those with complex learning, communication, or social-emotional needs.

Working alongside our teachers and experienced TA team, you will deliver personalised support that helps children to flourish both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include implementing individual learning plans, supporting communication through visual aids and structured routines, and helping to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can achieve their full potential. You will play an important role in ensuring pupils access a curriculum tailored to their needs, using approaches such as PECS, visual timetables, ‘now and next’ boards, Attention Autism, and Intensive Interaction. Training and ongoing professional development will be provided to support you in your role.

This role is essential in supporting teaching staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive learning experiences, building pupils’ engagement and confidence, and contributing positively to the wider life of our school. If this sounds like you, we would be delighted to hear from you!
