The Governors of this thriving
and increasingly successful Catholic comprehensive school seek to appoint
Teaching Assistants to work within our Deaf Hub. The successful applicant will be required to
work 34½ hours a week which includes 2 hours a week for CPD, school visits out
of hours (full time), term time only.
These roles involve:

Assisting students in our Deaf hub with
their studies within and beyond the classroom.

Experience of Foundation / Early Years
·
Willingness to learn BSL (British Sign
Language – no prior knowledge needed)
·
Assist Teacher of the Deaf to develop
the deaf culture in school
St John Fisher is an 11-18 comprehensive
