Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Art Teacher to join the Art Department, to start from September 2026.

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Art Teacher to inspire students and develop their artistic skills. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, encourage self-expression, and support learners in reaching their full creative potential.

This is a full-time, permanent role, paid on the STPC Main Pay Scale.

The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5k which is split into the following payments - £2.5k subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2.5k to be paid upon one year service. 

This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.
