Contract:  19.5 hours per week over 3 days a week, 38 weeks per year  8.30am - 4pm with 1 hour lunch

Newborough CofE Primary School is a welcoming, single-form entry school that has recently joined the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET). This partnership has opened up exciting opportunities for staff development and career progression through research-informed practice and extensive CPD programs. Newborough Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of Newborough. We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and professional HLTA to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly,
• Experienced in delivering cover for Class Teachers,
• Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn,
• Understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children,
• Able to deliver and evaluate lessons, giving feedback when needed,
• Confident in using a range of behaviour management skills,
• Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently,
• Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.

Newborough is a proud member of PDET, alongside 36 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust.
