About this Role

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Limebrook Primary School and Nursery.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate good to outstanding practices, will need to be organised, proactive and have the ability to develop good relationships with staff, Children and parents in the school.

You will be able to deliver a wide range of creative and enjoyable inside and outside activities to ensure a secure and welcoming Teaching and Learning environment.

The role requirements will include:

  • · Providing safe, high quality education and care to Nursery/EYFS children

  • · Have high expectations of every pupil

  • · Liaise closely with parents/carers ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met

  • · Assist with planning of the curriculum, record keeping and data interpretation

  • · Administer first aid

  • · Set up play areas daily and help to tidy away at the end of the session


    37 hours per week on  rotating shift patterns of 7.30am- 3.30pm, 8am-4pm and 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday 


The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education, BTEC National Diploma in Early Years, NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, or NNEB Certificate

  • GCSE in Maths and English C/4 or above

  • ·Have experience in nursery/EYFS setting

  • · Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum

  • · Be resilient, flexible and organised

  •   Passionate about teaching and learning
