“Teaching Assistants in our school form a bridge in many
ways. They not only support through interventions and class learning but act as
guides to our children in how we want them to be. They are invaluable, full of
humour, drive and life.”
Horley Infant School is looking for a caring, nurturing member of staff to join our
fantastic team to help support the children’s learning and development and to form part of a job-share
with another Teaching Assistant. This position would be perfect for somebody

effective team player and is knowledgeable about how to support learning in the
infant phase.

that everyone has the potential to achieve in their own way. An understanding
of the Early Years Framework or KS1 National Curriculum or experience of
leading interventions or supporting specific needs would be desirable.
Horley Infant School has a positive local reputation whereby
we live by our vision and values of “embracing and nurturing the individual”

our school, even though we have nearly 270 children on roll. In May 2018,
Ofsted recognised that we continue to be a good school but don’t just take
their word for it - feel free to come along and take a look around. We hope you
would agree that being at our school is a lot like the difference between being
in a home and being in a house. In our latest Staff Wellbeing Survey, our
school staff reported an 11% greater level of job satisfaction than the
