About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Club Wrap Around Care Assistant to support the wrap around care at our school.

This position is for 1 afternoon per week on a Tuesday, between the hours of 3:15pm until 4:30pm, term time only.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·         Assist in the supervision and care of children during wraparound hours
  • ·         Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
  • ·         Supervision of age-appropriate activities and games
  • ·         Supervision of after school snacks
  • ·         Maintain accurate registers/records and communicate effectively with parents/carers/colleagues

 You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team.
  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Follow the school safeguarding and health & safety policies and have a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
