About
Maiden Erlegh Trust
Maiden
Erlegh Trust is a growing community of schools across Berkshire and
Oxfordshire, working together to deliver the best possible education for every
child and young person. With around 750 staff and 4,500 students across nine
schools, including primary, secondary, special, and alternative provision, we
are proud of the diversity that shapes our expertise.
We
Aim High, Be Inclusive, and Work Together. These values drive
our focus on high-quality education for all, through collaboration, inclusion,
and continuous improvement.
Through
the Maiden Erlegh Institute, colleagues access high-quality professional
learning at every stage of their career, supported by mentoring, leadership
opportunities, and our annual MET Staff Conference, a day that unites our whole
team in sharing best practice and learning.
Joining
our Trust means being part of a community that invests in people and values
expertise - it is about playing a direct role in shaping the lives and outcomes
of young people.
You can
learn more about working with us and hear from colleagues across our Trust here
on our website.
We are a
two-form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth districts
of Bracknell Forst. In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and a
Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) catering for children with ASD and MLD. We
can accommodate 420 children, plus 26 spaces in our nursery, which offers
flexible 30 hours a week. The school is organised into two Key Stages - EYFS/
KS1 and KS2.
Our motto
is: Learn, Believe, Achieve Together. We set high standards of work
and achieve this through providing a curriculum that also develops children's
belief that they can achieve their highest aspiration, while working closely
with parents and the whole community. With that in mind we greatly value our
partnership with parents. We believe that working together is the best way to
ensure our children develop a solid foundation and a love for learning.
We have 4
Golden Rules - Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Ready to Learn and Be Honest. Each
class has their own school Golden Rules Charter to encourage and develop the
children’s sense of respect and responsibility.
Our
school, set in spacious grounds, offers a calm and purposeful working
atmosphere. Our staff are dedicated to do the very best for all our pupils,
regardless of any additional needs or various backgrounds. If you feel you
could join our inspiring workforce, then please apply.
