Birch Hill Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and ready to take on a more active role in the classroom.

As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, lead small group interventions, and provide class cover when required.  You’ll be a key part of our team, helping to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment,  This position is a  fixed term contract for one academic year.  If you want to make a meaningful contribution to our children's school experience, we would love to hear from you.

• plans and delivers engaging learning activities

• Understands and upholds the importance of safeguarding and child protection
• Comfortable working with children of different ages and with children who may have additional complex needs

About the school: We are a two-form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth districts of Bracknell Forest.  In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) catering for children with ASD and MLD.  We can accommodate 420 children, plus 26 spaces in our nursery, which offers flexible 30 hours a week.  The school is organised into two Key Stages - EYFS/ KS1 and KS2.
