An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team at Parkside as SEND Manager (Assistant SENDCo)
As the SEND Manager at Parkside School, the core focus of this job is to support the SENDCo and Deputy SENDCo. The post holder will do this by assuming responsibility for managing and contributing to the work of the team, with a particular focus on EHCP students, undertaking reviews, parent/carer evenings, and supporting teaching staff with the implementation of inclusion strategies. The post holder will lead on the transition of SEN students and will track progress throughout their time at Parkside School.
The successful applicant will be supported by the Assistant Principal for Inclusion (SENDCo) and Deputy SENDCo. There is a Trust wide SEND/SENDCo network along with the opportunity to visit other schools to witness strong practice and use that experience to develop others at Parkside School. This post would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting SEND students and is wanting to develop their leadership experience.
Parkside School also has a Resource Provision, a dedicated area for students with EHCPs (Autism) to work in a hybrid model with students in school. The postholder will gain an immersive experience in all aspects related to
