An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inclusion Leader (with Lunchtime Supervisor Responsability) at Oastlers School.

The successful candidate will not only understand complex emotional, social and mental health needs of secondary aged learners, but one who is also sympathetic and sesitive to the very difficulties our learners face in their personal live and help them overcome those barriers to success..

Oastlers School is part of Exceed Academies Trust, which currently consists of fourteen academies; ten primary schools, an all-through primary-to-secondary academy, two alternative provision academies (Primary and Secondary), and a specialist setting for children/young people who suffer from social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The Trust has an excellent reputation within Bradford and beyond, and an outstanding track record of supporting staff in developing their careers through specialist training lead by the Exceed Teaching School Hub and our Outstanding SCITT.

The successful candidate will:

  • Able to respond to highly complex problems, particularly in safeguarding and challenging behaviours.
  • Responding to the day to day implementation of the schools Behaviour Policy
  • Supporting effective learning in the classroom
  • Promoting inclusion in the school community ensuring access to curriculum and extra curricular activities
  • providing vibrant, learning environments in the classroom
