This is a key post within our Inclusion Team. The successful
candidate will bring expert knowledge of SEND processes, an exceptional eye for
detail and the confidence to lead and develop others. With the introduction of
a new Inclusion Administration Assistant, this role includes increased
leadership, oversight and line‑management
responsibilities, ensuring consistency, quality and statutory compliance across
all SEND administration.
The Senior Early Help & Inclusion Support Administrator
will:
- Lead and quality‑assure
all SEND administrative systems, ensuring statutory documentation,
deadlines and records are accurate, compliant and robust
- Coordinate and oversee
EHCP processes, Annual Reviews and liaison with the Local Authority
- Support Early Help
processes, including referrals, tracking interventions and maintaining
strong communication with families
- Act as a key
professional contact for parents/carers, staff and external agencies
- Line‑manage and support
administrative colleagues within the Inclusion Team, providing training,
guidance and ongoing professional development
- Work closely with the
SENCo to review systems, improve workflows and support audits, reviews and
reporting
This is a role for someone who combines expert
operational competence with strong people skills, and who is committed to
improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
You will:
- Have significant
experience in SEND administration or a similar school‑based support role
- Demonstrate in‑depth
understanding of SEND legislation, including EHCPs, Annual Reviews and the
SEND Code of Practice
- Be highly organised,
accurate and confident managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced
environment
- Have experience
supporting or overseeing colleagues and contributing to team development
- Communicate with
clarity, professionalism and empathy, particularly when working with
families and external professionals
- Be confident using data,
management information systems and digital record‑keeping tools
- Share a strong
