About this Role

We are looking to recruit staff to join our team of casual Exam Invigilators, supervising students during examinations under the guidance of the Lead Invigilator and supporting the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of examinations. Please see the enclosed job description for further details of the duties and responsibilities within the role.

The main summer exams season runs from May to June, with internal mock exams taking place in November through to July.  Ad hoc formal exams also take place throughout the academic year.  Exams take place across both mornings and afternoons, within the school day. The length of exams can vary, but the time you will be required to be on duty will typically allow for a short briefing before the start of the exam.

£12.65 per hour (plus holiday pay), casual / term-time only

Hours are claimed on a timesheet at the end of the month worked, and these are paid monthly in arrears into your bank account.

Previous experience of working as an Exam Invigilator and/or working within education or administration is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided. If you are looking for the opportunity to work in an established school and would like a flexible and rewarding job, working within a great team, then we would love to hear from you.
