Rivendell Flying High Academy are looking to appoint a Grade 5 Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within our team to provide a stimulating and caring

Your core duties will be:
- The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible in their approach
- Covering PPA
- Leading on a subject (Ie Music)
- Providing 1:1 support for individual children in
and out of the classroom
- ·
Providing practical assistance in relation to
identified care needs
- ·
To work under the direct instruction of our
SENDCo and teaching staff, to support access to learning
- ·
Supporting children with their developmental
needs to ensure they are accessing the curriculum lead by the class teacher
- ·
Providing intimate care to children as and when
required
- ·
Providing support for such tasks as clerical,
administrative, photocopying as directed by the teacher
- ·
Creating and maintaining school displays in line
with the needs of the school and environment vision for the term / year
alongside the class teacher
- ·
Creating and maintaining a clean and orderly
learning and teaching environment
- ·
Preparing and maintaining routine
equipment/resources/materials as requested
- ·
Provide general support to the teacher in the
classroom
- ·
Monitoring, arranging and maintaining orderly
and secure storage of supplies and equipment
- ·
Following school procedures, in particular those
relating to health and safety and child protection
