About this Role

Waterside Primary Academy has a vacancy for a Mid Day Supervisor who will  join our growing school, working from 11.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and flexible individual to be part of our dedicated and happy Waterside team. This is a vital role in which you could truly make a difference to pupils and support them to reach their full potential.

Staff work hard to provide an engaging and challenging curriculum which prepares our children for future life enabling them to be aspirational, independent and creative learners. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and we recognise that each one is special and has their own contributions to make.

Our school motto “Happy Children Learn” and our values of Caring, Attitude, Respect, Effort and Safety are at our core and are embedded into all aspects of our school life.  They guide thinking, attitudes and decisions at all levels and are at the forefront of the relationships we nurture and cherish.  We seek to ensure that each and every member of our school is respected and valued.

The successful candidate will:

·         Demonstrate a strong commitment to children’s happiness, safety and achievement

·         Be friendly and approachable with a professional manner and a good sense of humour

·         Possess a good standard of spoken and written English  appropriate to the primary age range

Full induction, plus ongoing support and training, will be provided. Please see the attached job description.

The Kings Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

*Please note that we may wish to conduct an online search of your name prior to an interview.

Applications will be considered upon receipt and the school reserves the right to close and shortlist early, therefore early applications are encouraged.
