About the Role

As Site Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our school safe, secure, and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors. From overseeing maintenance and repairs to managing cleaning standards and ensuring the security of the premises, you’ll take pride in creating an environment where learning can flourish. This is a hands-on, varied role that requires practical skills, strong organisation, and a proactive approach—every day brings a new challenge and the chance to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance, keeping buildings and grounds in excellent condition.
  • Supervise cleaning staff and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school.
  • Manage budgets and plan for long-term site development.
  • Liaise with contractors, oversee works, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and take proactive steps to prevent issues.
  • Support school lettings and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for all.

We Are Looking For

  • Someone who takes pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
  • A proactive and positive team member who communicates well and works collaboratively.
  • An individual with practical maintenance skills and a good understanding of health and safety.
  • Someone who is organised, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently.
  • A flexible problem-solver who responds calmly and effectively to challenges.
  • Someone committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and staff.

We Can Offer You:

  • A strong commitment to our people, guided by principles of wellbeing, adaptability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • Access to high-quality professional learning at every stage of your career, including leadership development opportunities.
  • Clear pathways for career progression across our partnership.
  • An employee assistance programme offering specialist support, including counselling, financial guidance, and legal advice.
  • A positive, supportive working environment where teamwork benefits every child.
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to children’s lives every single day.
