St James' is delighted to present a fantastic position at a well-regarded Primary school within the Bedford area. We are seeking a dedicated and proficient individual to join the school's administrative team and contribute to its ongoing success.

As an administrative assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing effective and efficient administrative support to the school office, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will have the opportunity to interact with staff, pupils, families and visitors, and work within a supportive friendly team.

The ideal candidate will:

·         Live our school values and encourage all to flourish 

·         Have excellent written and communication skills

·         Show initiative and independence while working collaboratively

·         Proficient in using IT systems and software packages, and emails

·          Ability to work efficiently and constructively within a small team

·         Be proactive and proficient in administrative tasks

·         Experience of the education sector - desirable

·         Willingness to undergo training, embrace lifelong learning and be eager to gain new experiences

·         Kind and flexible team player.
