St Teresa of Calcutta Multi Academy is a highly successful
Catholic Multi Academy encompassing ten Primary Schools and two Secondary
Schools. The ethos of St Teresa of Calcutta Multi Academy and The Rosary School
is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for
children of Catholic families. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine
and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It
is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully
supported by all staff within the multi academy.
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated,
enthusiastic individual to join our supportive, thriving team as a Class
Teacher and RE Lead who will play a key role in nurturing the spiritual and
moral development of our pupils.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is a practising Catholic who is committed to upholding and
developing the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Lead Religious Education across the school
• Support liturgical and spiritual life, including prayer
and liturgy.
• Work closely with school leaders, the academy, parish and
Diocese to promote the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Play a key role in developing pupils’ moral, ethical and
religious understanding
• Has a passion to teach and a love of learning.
• Has a drive to be outstanding and have high expectations
for all pupils.
• Challenges and motivates all pupils to raise achievement.
• Is a team player and excellent communicator, with good
organisational skills and the ability to build positive, collaborative
relationships with colleagues.
• Enables children to learn through a creative delivery of
the curriculum.
• Will become fully involved in the wider life of the
school.
• Someone with an understanding of the new RE curriculum and
the ability to inspire pupils and colleagues.

The successful applicant will be part of the Senior Leadership Team at The Rosary Catholic Primary School. We will offer all relevant training and support. Experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
