About the Role

The primary purpose of the Cleaner role is to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the school's diverse community of pupils, staff, and visitors. As a member of the site team, the Cleaner plays a vital role in supporting the school's vision. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean classrooms, shared areas, and other designated spaces to a high standard, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to learning.
  • Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standards.
  • Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated.
  • Using powered equipment where necessary (scrubbing machines, wet pick-up machines, vacuum cleaners).
  • Replenish consumables (e.g., soap, paper towels) as needed.
