Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant school community as part of our Design & Technology and Construction team.
This position, within the UQT range P4 to P6, is perfect for those eager to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and looking to develop practical skills while supporting an innovative curriculum.
Why Choose Keyham Lodge School?
Our school is a truly special place—a thriving community
where diversity is celebrated, and every student is valued. Our dedicated staff
work tirelessly to create a nurturing, inclusive environment that breaks down
barriers to learning and supports pupils from a variety of ethnic, cultural and
religious backgrounds. We are committed to closing attainment gaps and
fostering a child-centred, learning-focused setting where everyone can
flourish.
We believe in providing education that extends beyond the
classroom, preparing our students for success in all aspects of life. Lessons
in vocational studies truly impact our student’s success for future
destinations and career journeys. If you have experience in construction—either
in industry or education—that’s a bonus, but it’s your willingness to learn and
grow that matters most. We care deeply about the well-being of our staff and
students, recognising this as the foundation of our school’s success.
“The school continues to train teachers to use the most effective teaching methods. This means staff are extremely knowledgeable about the special educational needs of pupils and how to adapt their teaching to meet these needs.” - OFSTED
If you are motivated to inspire the next generation and ready to contribute to our unique school ethos, we’d love to hear from you!
