Experienced Primary Teacher required for our Communication and Interaction School
We are looking to recruit a skilled primary practitioner to work in the primary phase of our school. All of the pupils have complex communication and interaction needs and require a curriculum offer that provides nurture alongside academic challenge. Working flexibly to guide the progress of pupils whilst developing specialist approaches collaboratively with pupils, parents and our therapy team will ensure that pupils thrive and are prepared for their next stage of learning.

The Fusion Academy is a school for children and young people aged 7-19 with communication and interaction needs and/or autism, supporting 92 pupils onsite. We are located in a purpose built school in Barwell. The Fusion Academy is part of The Open Thinking Partnership MAT.
A flexible solution focussed approach to teaching young people of mainstream academic ability while addressing their communication and interaction barriers to learning is crucial.

Salary - MPS/UPS (depending on qualifications and experience) and SEN allowance.
The start date for this position is 13th April 2026 but for the right candidate an August start could be considered.
