About this Role

Springhead Park Primary School seeks an enthusiastic School Administrator to play a crucial role in managing its administration function.

An exciting opportunity awaits a proactive, personable, and reliable School Administrator to join a bustling front office administration team. The academy seeks an individual with a fast-paced nature and outstanding attention to detail to offer comprehensive administrative support, including database maintenance, ad hoc reception duties, and customer service.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for the school and responsible for providing multifunctional administrative and practical support to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and staff.

You will lead the management of the school admissions process, supporting the smooth transition of pupils into and out of the school, and be responsible for the management of the school pupil management system. You will also undertake a wide range of other duties including supporting the planning and organisation of school trips and helping with staff recruitment.

The role is term-time plus two weeks (41 weeks per year), full-time, Monday through Friday, 37 hours per week.

About You

You will be a highly motivated, efficient and organised administrator, who is a team player, as you will work with a number of people at all levels across the school. With a track record of working in a busy environment where attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to liaise with families and professionals and remain level-headed when dealing with sensitive information. A high-level competency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is also required.

Education experience would be ideal; however not essential as full training and support will be provided.

If you are energetic and want to make a difference in the education sector, this role could be for you!

We warmly welcome visits to our school so you can see for yourself all we have to offer. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the school office to arrange a convenient time.
