In this role you will:
· Prepare for and
supervise activities of the individual or groups of children to ensure their
general safety and welfare and to facilitate their development in
line with the designated duties of the post and only under the direction of the
class teacher
· To undertake
activities necessary to meet the physical and emotional needs of individuals
and groups of children
· Under the guidance
of the subject teacher, provide scaffolding of learning tasks; verbally,
visually and in writing for identified students within lessons and on
a 1:1 basis
· To be aware of
individual student’s needs and progress and report these to the
classroom teacher or designated supervisor when requested or necessary
· Assist in the
planning, delivery and evaluation of interventions.
