Otterton C of E Primary School is situated within the beautiful village of Otterton in the heart of East Devon. It is a special place where a tremendous amount of academic and life-long learning is brought to pupils, through a carefully planned curriculum and a dynamic and dedicated teaching staff. We are a family orientated, child-centred school, with a whole range of skills and experiences for pupils to develop their learning and unique abilities. We work hard to be an important part of our community and much activity takes place out and about in the local environment. Our vision of ‘growing stronger together’ is at the heart of all that we offer, lived out through our shared values.
You will be part of a proficient team dedicated to improving the outcomes for all our children, where your work-life balance will be promoted. We offer you the support of clear systems, protocols, expectations and structures to help you to succeed as a teacher.

We want you to come and join our happy, positive learning environments where the Trust shared vision , ‘Flourishing schools for all at the heart of our communities’, is integral to everything we do, underpinned by our core values of belonging, curiosity and collaboration. As a Church of England school, you would also be supportive of our Christian ethos where together, we strive to ensure that all children flourish—academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

- Recognition of our amazing children; nurturing, supporting and challenging them, meeting their needs to ensure they have independent learning behaviours that will see them prepared for their future learning journey.
- An ability to see the best in all and promote and expect positive behaviour at all times.
- A committed approach to the wider school community and engagement with them.
- A cheerful, fresh and creative approach to giving the children under your care the best you can
