About the
role
All Saints' Church of England Infant & Junior Academies has an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team. The position is to work mornings, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.15pm and is fixed term until 31.07.2027. We are looking for people with a minimum Level 2 qualification in Education and Childcare or a Teaching Assistant qualification. In addition, you will have a passion for working with young people and experience of working within a primary school setting.
As a
Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in the child’s day, you will be
passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true
potential of all our children. You will have a calm and positive disposition,
the ability to break down activities into small step-by-step teaching and will
nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils. Implementing clear boundaries
and routines. You will use behaviour management in all areas around the school.
The job
requirements
We are
looking for someone who has experience working with children in a
supportive capacity and has good verbal communication, strong time management,
organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as these
are all essential to this role.
You will
have the ability to build a good rapport with parents and carers and the wider
school community.
Ideally, you will be an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge and understanding
of child development, the curriculum and how to enhance a
child’s experiences and build upon their learning.
