Achievement Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant)
Location: Based at St Augustine’s School, Scarborough, working for the St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust.
Contract: Permanent
Term time only - plus 5 additional days
Hours/ Working Pattern: 32.5 hours - Monday to Friday

St Augustine’s School, part of the St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Achievement Support Assistant to join our supportive and vibrant school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential while contributing to our mission of excellence, inclusion, and Catholic education.
What We’re Looking For
• A committed and enthusiastic practitioner with experience supporting pupils
• Strong understanding of how to assist students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with additional needs
• Ability to deliver small-group or one-to-one support and contribute to high-quality classroom provision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and flexible approach
• A willingness to uphold and promote the school’s Catholic ethos and values in daily practice
• You will hold an NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
