About this Role

Job Title: Site Assistant

Location: St Clare's School

Grade/Scale: Support Grade D (up to £27K per year pro rata)

Contract: 30-37 hours per week, all year round (Part time hours and flexible days could be considered for the right candidate)   

Core hours of work: lunchtime to 6:30-7pm daily in term time and more flexible hours in school holidays

We are looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic Site Assistant to join our friendly site team at ST Clares School, a vibrant special school. Our school buildings and grounds are very busy and well used, so we need someone who able to carry out repairs and decorating, with a broad range of trade and handyperson skills to keep the site safe, functional and welcoming. You will report to the Site Manager.

You will support with caretaking, security, routine and reactive maintenance, and minor repairs across the whole site. The role is varied, active and hands-on, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently and as part of a team, and taking pride in their work.
