Inspire. Challenge. Excel.

King’s Leadership Academy Bolton are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Teacher of Maths to join our thriving and high-performing school. We are  looking for an individual who shares our commitment to academic excellence and the transformational power of knowledge and character education.

King’s Bolton is a non-selective free school grounded in traditional values and informed by the most effective international educational research. As part of the Great Schools Trust, we are proud of our growing reputation for excellence and are significantly oversubscribed, reflecting the strong demand for our distinctive approach to education.

Our Maths department is dynamic, ambitious, and dedicated to fostering a genuine passion for mathematics. It offers an intellectually challenging curriculum that develops problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in numeracy, encouraging students to engage deeply with the mathematical concepts that shape the world around them. This is a rare opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute meaningfully to the academic life and continued success of the school.

We deliver a knowledge-rich, carefully sequenced curriculum that places mathematical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving at its heart. Schemes of work are carefully planned and resourced to a high standard, with a focus on supporting teacher work-life balance through minimal marking policies and research-led teaching practices.

At King’s Bolton, we are proud of our unique mission: to develop not only academic excellence but also the character and leadership skills of every child. Our students are hardworking, polite, and driven—making every lesson a rewarding experience. We often hear from staff that this is a school where people look forward to Monday mornings.
