About this Role

Hyde Park Primary School is seeking a highly organised, approachable, and efficient Office Manager to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in the daily running of our busy school office, ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing exceptional support to staff, pupils, and parents alike. As Office Manager, you will lead the administration function, supporting the Headteacher, staff and wider school community to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office.
This is a varied and rewarding role, with responsibilities spanning across office leadership, school administration, HR and finance processes, communication, and premises support.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a high-performing admin team.
Managing school communications and front-of-house reception.
Maintaining accurate staff and pupil records through Arbor and other systems.
Overseeing school finance admin tasks such as orders, payments and trip tracking.
Acting as the main contact between the school and the Trust’s central teams.
Supporting recruitment, induction, and compliance procedures, including the Single Central Record.

We’re looking for someone who:
Is confident with ICT and data systems such as Arbor, PS Financials or similar.
Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
Is an effective communicator and team leader, with a calm and professional manner.
Understands the importance of confidentiality, safeguarding and attention to detail.

Desirable:
Experience with MIS systems, finance processes, recruitment administration, or site management.
