At Foley Infant Academy, children are the focus of every decision made in school.  Our dedicated team form positive relationships in order to nurture personal and academic growth.

When you visit our school, you will see children who are happy, who reflect our high expectations and demonstrate our values:

Be Proud

Our values are the thread which runs through the rich tapestry of school life and the curriculum, where children are provided with appropriate challenge and are proud of their accomplishments.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic team player to help ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school and that security is maintained at all times to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school premises.

The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job. Possess good individual and team skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges.

Our cleaning operative will need to be flexible at all times and will be required to work as and when the school requires a deeper clean during school shutdown periods.

Please note annual leave must be taken during school holidays.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a willingness to learn and undertake any training as required
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be able to establish positive working relationships with staff

Previous experience of cleaning, safe use of chemicals and using cleaning machinery would be desirable but isn’t essential as full training will be given.

If you feel that you have the skills and personal attributes that we are looking for, and that you can commit to our mission and values, then we would welcome your application.

Manor Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this vision.
