About this Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join the team at Kilburn Junior School, where every child is seen, known, and valued. Whether you’ve worked in schools, youth work, care, or another setting — if you connect well with young people and believe you will fit in with our school values and ethos, we want to hear from you.

Please see our school website and arrange a visit, to see what makes Kilburn Junior School such  a special place.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is emotionally intelligent, positive and proactive. You’ll work alongside our experienced team to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development, helping create a classroom where all children feel safe, supported and inspired.

About You

You don’t need to have worked in a school before. If you’re passionate about helping children succeed, love working as part of a team, and have the confidence to build strong relationships with pupils, this could be the perfect next step for you.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Connects easily and positively with children

  • Is calm, flexible and compassionate

  • Can work closely with teachers and colleagues to deliver excellent support

  • Is willing to learn and grow with us
