is seeking to appoint a full-time EYFS teacher

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our Trust at City Road Primary School.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher (Early Years) to join our Early Years team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who does not hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) but does hold Early Years Teacher Status (EYT) or a relevant equivalent qualification, and who is passionate about providing high‑quality early education.

The Role

Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all children
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support children’s development
Contribute positively to the wider life of the setting/school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Early Years Teacher Status (EYT), Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), or a relevant Level 6 Early Years qualification (or similar)
A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
Experience working in an Early Years setting
High expectations for children’s learning, behaviour and wellbeing
Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
