Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science (specialism in Chemistry preferred). 

We are looking to fill this vacancy with an enthusiastic individual with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach pupils of all secondary ages. The successful candidate will share our high expectations for pupils of all ages and attainment levels.

We particularly encourage applications from Early Careers Teachers looking to kick-start their journey in a supportive and inspiring environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching classes, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils
  • Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
  • Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
