We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work in partnership with the class teacher to support the social, emotional, educational and welfare needs of nursery/early years children in line with early years goals, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one-to-one and lead small group interventions.
Working Pattern: 2.5 days a week - (16 hours per week)
Thursday & Friday 08:15 - 15:15 (30 min break)
Plus one morning a week, 08:30 - 11:30 ( Flexibility of which days, to be agreed at interview)
The successful candidate will need to:
Hold a relevant NNEB qualification or equivalent
Have experience working with nursery/early years children.
Have a caring nature
Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults
Be able to work as part of a team
