About this Role

Vacancy for a KS2 Class Teacher

Salary: MPS

Hours: 80%, 4 days per week working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Fixed term until 31/08/2026


We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking Key Stage 2 Teacher to join Lantern Community Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to childrens learning and development by delivering creative and engaging lessons. You will provide a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment for all Key Stage 2 children to help them achieve their full potential and a love for learning.

The ideal candidate: 

  • QTS teaching qualification 
  • Experience of teaching Key Stage Two
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team 
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
